Workout Overview:
This workout is strictly a Post Player Shooting Workout. It doesn’t incorporate much conditioning, but you do still want to shoot everything at game speed. It can be done with a rebounder but one is definitely not required.
Approximate Duration:
30 – 40 minutes.
1. Mikan Layups – 20 makes.
2. Reverse Mikan Layups – 20 makes.
3. Form Shooting: One Hand – 3 Feet Out – 10 makes.
4. Form Shooting: One Hand – 5 Feet Out – 10 makes.
5. Form Shooting: Two Hands – 3 Feet Out – 10 makes.
6. Form Shooting: Two Hands – 5 Feet Out – 10 makes.
7. Free Throws – 10 makes.
8. Block-to-Block Continuous Jump Shots – 20 makes.
9. Short Corner Continuous Jump Shots – 20 makes.
10. Low Post: Right Block – Drop step – 10 makes.
11. Low Post: Right Block – 1-Dribble Jump Hook – 10 makes.
12. Low Post: Right Block – Up-and-Under – 10 makes.
13. Low Post: Right Block – Reverse Pivot Jump Shot – 10 makes.
14. Low Post: Left Block – Drop Step – 10 makes.
15. Low Post: Left Block – 1-Dribble Jump Hook – 10 makes.
16. Low Post: Left Block – Up-and-Under – 10 makes.
17. Low Post: Left Block – Reverse Pivot Jump Shot – 10 makes.
18. Free Throws – 10 makes.
19. Elbow-to-Elbow Continuous Jump Shots – 20 makes.
20. High Post: Right Elbow – Shot Fake, 1-Dribble Layup – 5 makes.
21. High Post: Right Elbow – Shot Fake, 1-Dribble Spin Layup – 5 makes.
